As of yet, we do not know who his parents are. To my knowledge, we don't know his surname yet. In fact, we don't even actually know what village he is from, only that he was not born in Konoha.
The current running theory seems to be that his identity may be revealed in the upcoming Naruto movie ...

maybe I've been too indoctrinated by the west's habit of making tv and film all 'dark' and 'gritty' and shit, but I look at "Ichigo Mashimaro" and think "that looks like a show for 7 year-olds" - just from the title graphic like. Am I a million times wrong?

@Hakase i don't think it can be saved but we do still fix up lost cause questions/answers because so they actually look neat. i could re-write every word of the all caps so it's not but the edit doesn't add anything to the question. it's more of a replay to the comments
