@Gokuカカロット Apparently Chronoa can delete a timeline. Zeno with Zamatsu only deleted the contents of the timeline. So technically Chronoa is far worse.

But Chronoa isn't a random sociopath like Zeno seems to be.

@SPArcheon actually, no. Chronoa is far superior to Demigra, who can delete all timelines. By all, I mean infinitely many (this is expanded upon further in Dragon Ball Heroes game and Xenoverse 2 DLC)

Also consider that for every timeline, there's one Zeno. But, there's only one Chronoa at any given moment. She's above the "usual" timestream in Dragon Ball

@SPArcheon the games seem to be canon with the Heroes timeline/story. Many interactions and dialogues only make sense if you consider that they've interacted in games before

In terms of damage potential, yeah I mean, an ant from Dragon Ball Heroes is probably more powerful than DBS Zeno, I'm not even kidding @SPArcheon

@Gokuカカロット To be fair, even Super leaves Trunks fate uncertain, so just add Mai to the time nest and you know where they went after the Zamatsu thing.

Basically, the whole thing seem just made out so that Trunks can canonically disappear from the show and be put in Cotton City.

@Gokuカカロット do they? After Zeno destroys everything in the future timeline they... simply go away. I don't remember the show ever specifying where they go, to the point it seems almost stupid (just stay there, it is not like you didn't already saw your younger version...)

@SPArcheon remember in the DBS, when Whis talks about going to another timeline in order to warn the Beerus of that timeline about Zamasu? To which Beerus objects to by saying that it'll create another timeline but gets quickly shut down by Whis who states that him erasing Zamasu also did that? That was when they talked about sending Mai and Trunks to that new timelines where a pair of them already exists (which Mai isn't immediately comfortable with)

Also, when they depart, they're leaving in the time machine signifying that they're time traveling to another timeline

@SPArcheon although I do agree with Future Trunks and Mai staying in the "main" timeline. They were gonna need to stay at a new timeline anyway, why not choose the main one? Trunks would've made a valuable ally in Tournament of Power and they wouldn't need to revive Frieza in that case

@Sakamoto I always liked to joke about Zeno being a stand-in for the audience. Not sure about the validity of it, but googling it shows it's not my original thought.
