This seems more like some "fantasy" story.... Pollyanna, Ann of Greengables, Princess Sarah... those are all based on quite famous books, you probably won't find any "anime like" dream sequence with monsters in them.
furthermore... aren't both Princess Sarah and Pollyanna part of the first batch of World Masterpiece Theater? That is probably too early.
