@hyper-neutrino Been thinking about "Paimon". Every time a new battle pass start, you get the same intro video again and again and again....

The video is crafted so that it seems to be about Aether and Lumine, but oddly it does not reverse even if you picked Lumine.

It always talks about a fallen sister and a searching brother.

So...

I was thinking...

What if Paimon is the sister. She was corrupted, she indeed was the Unknown Goddes for a while, then after the Traveler is banished for 500 years she is "defeated" by someone.

She turns "small" in a trope that anime likes quite much and is fished up by the Traveler.

yeah I have noticed that the battle pass cutscene mentions a searching brother even though I chose Lumine so...

Now, she is back to her former "self" either because the Traveler actually purified her without realizing (remember Dvalin and the Festering Fang?) or because someone else did (we don't know what happens to the OTHER traveler)

I am starting to think that Paimon is actually Dain sister who lost her memory after being corrupted and turned back into a "child"

The "blink and you miss it " frame from the quest doesn't show much

could as well be the flying island that everyone call "Celestia"

on other hand there are references in the game to the Abyss being the remains of the city.

But since this game seems to play with religious themes, the idea that a flying city was cast in the depths of the earth to punish the arrogance of people who defied the gods...

That said seems I am not alone in this idea and now I want to see this in game.
