@Tonepoet the one with the floating blue eye, does she always have a heart shape in that cable thing the eye is on? because when i see art of her there's always a heart
She was the first extra stage boss I got a perfect game against. :P
(Either that or Suwako, but I think it was Koishi)
The worst part was that, right at the end of the "Subterranean Rose" spell card (the final one), as the bullets were disappearing from me beating her, I got hit by a stray bullet and died. I was so pissed. A few games later I managed to do it right though.
Hm anyone here watched the "Koishi's heart throbbing adventure" series?
Is it fully translated? I remember a few years ago when it was still coming out, a few of the last episodes weren't translated. I really liked that series.
@forest looking at the previous dates i'm not too hopeful. it's been over 2 years and biggest gap i can find between the upload dates on nicovideo is 7 months
watched the first episode of Thunderbolt Fantasy and given they are using puppets it's even better than you would expect. sure it's sorta obvious in scene where there's water since the droplets on the face are too big but the movement is so fluid especially in combat scenes
would have watched a couple more but my no idea where my brother downloaded them from but they have inconsistent codecs. 2nd episode played audio but the image froze and i tried to convert all of them and episode 3 cashes Total Video Converter
they all play on the PC so might see if i have an extra long HDMI and......ahhh fuck that's right i'm using my PC's HDMI port
With input.avi and output.mp4 being, of course, the input file that you want to convert into the output file. The format is detected based on the output's extension.
Yeah if you convert it to MP4, it'll use the x264 library to convert to h.264.
@forest I watched a little of it but then I stopped because I think the translation was broken. It seems like translations that existed in youtube's annotations were either lost or don't work with firefox.
@forest To be fair, the only qualitative assessment it makes is sub v. dub, and doesn't judge the series as a whole. Speaking of which, I would rate that one show poorly. It brings back memories of lengthy rambling monologues, staring at nothing of great importance and compromised facial proportions with some forced paranormal events. XP
Though it was also a highly rated show which had a fairly large fanclub, so what do I know about good taste...
Totally unrelated, but opinions on the Rozen Maiden manga? It seems like a clusterfuck to me. Does it even conclude or not? I've watched the 2004 anime before (loved it) and am not sure if I want to read the manga (or watch the 2013 anime which I think is a more faithful adaption of the manga) because Hinaichigo is my favorite doll.
Mostly I just want to find out if Hina dies in the manga for good or not. Don't really want to read anything where I lose her, especially if the manga is finished.
Right now, I consider the 2004 anime to be cannon, where I think she lives, or at least it's implied that there's a way for her to be brought back.
The fandom page is confusing because it states that she's alive in the manga (and 2013 anime), but deceased in the 2004 anime, so I'm not sure if the page is correct.
I accidentally spoiled myself wrt Hinaichigo not too long ago so I can only go the full way and figure out if my understanding is correct or not. I know that in the 2004 anime, while she's in a coma, it's implied that there are ways for her to return.
ok, well apparently there's another Maestro like Jun who at some points gets his hands on Suiseiseki and sews one of her eyes shut so it can't be opened and he also made a dolls which is actually 2 dolls fused together
Yeah that's what happened in the manga (and thus 2013 anime).
I think, since the original manga did not conclude and had to be taken up by some other project and finished with a deus ex machina (if my understanding is correct), then it seems like less cannon than the more popular 2004 anime.
the first anime deviated from the original manga which you can see that they thought about maybe trying to tie it back up at the end when Laplace gives a Rozen Mystic to Kirakishou at the end
Yeah I know that the first season of the 2004 anime was accurate, but the Peach-Pit guy got hospitalized and so the second season had to go its own direction.
But I'm not sure if Peach-Pit continued after that or if that's when some other team took up the manga and concluded it.
Because if Peach-Pit didn't kill off Hinaichigo, then I don't consider it cannon!
@Gallifreyan *takes out paper fan and smacks mouse hand* we do not use the streaming service that tried to make their own Death Note with a Light who think condition statements work as a method of death
I read an isekai manga a while back but I am unable to recall its name. It had a person who was quite healthy but lived alone. He apparently died due to sneezing and banging his head on the ground while sleeping. He is reincarnated by the gods and spends 3 years in the forest with slimes until on...
