there are like 40% of people on fortnite subreddits every day also expressing in great detail exactly how and why they don't like it

well, I don't like any of the battlefield games

mostly because they cost hella money to play

and give me the worst fps of all games

also the realistic aesthetic sucks

so I also mean every call of duty and other such multiplayer shooter

counter strike looks boring too

tf2 was alright for a loooong while

borderlands isn't quite as good coz everything looks like trash and destruction

overwatch is just blizzard's populism bleh, I don't like anything they've made in recent years

fortnite is a good game, but I've played like 8k hours of tf2 and then maybe 10k of cs1.6 so after roughly 300h of fortnite I thought that was quite enough

@Yuuki ok so, in simple terms, there are games with few game systems and limited space for variation within these systems, and there are games where you can combine the systems you can interact with in so many interesting ways that you keep learning new ways and they're distinct enough that it keeps the game fun for years

like compare counter strike and for example overwatch

(or tf2 instead of overwatch, same game tbh)

or any platformer shooter adventure vs some sandbox platformer like terraria

granted the anventure platformer will have a story to guide you through to keep it fun while terraria has no story mode so you have to think of goals on your own, but imagine that adventure platformer suddenly gained all the mechanics of terraria, it'd be insane replayability boost

or if terraria got a story mode

never going to happen but if it did, it'd be something
