for Rin, magic wise she is Fuyuki's ruler. the Tohsaka's are the Second Owners of Fuyuki as such all Magi should report to them if they want to set up their workshops. aside from that the Tohsaka are quite wealthy given their mansion and are one of the more renowned families both in Japan and in the Association

This is kinda spoilers if you haven't watched all episodes, but my question is: Wasn't Dr. Marco one of the few sacrifices? Envy didn't want Marco to die, but in the end wasn't used by Father. Or did I miss something? Was Marco only captured to create stones?
