so far the only clear thing I've got is I must absolutely use the unity asset store to purchase and obtain paid assets but no idea about the free assets

but I don't care about paid assets though

everybody's being very "helpful" by inferring stuff like I'm too stupid to do it myself, but I want an official response which has some credit

one of the users there (top 8 by rep) which is ridiculous for his position says I can't expect an official response on the internet

@Hakase If the seller does not explicitly state you can't in the asset store page, I would assume that the default policy would count. Which says you are free to use it personally and commercially. It also isn't mentioned that this can't be on another platform.

Only re-selling/distributing, even if modified, is not allowed.

@ToshinouKyouko i hope to get a similar feel with the dungeons where you got to solve puzzles and get keys to make your way to the boss. after beating it storyline ones will drop a kind of heart which can be used to craft a stat increasing heart. optional bosses drop these and also a heart which will turn into a random stat heart

this is actually my third rebuild of the game with a new plot. the first was going to be what my Megaman Fangame was going to be but using a human character with a mechanical arm who fights a government organization that attached it on her. the second time the arm was going to be one of 10 and was going to be a 4 part series. this time the arm is crystal and the 4 games are now going to be all 1 game.

the previous 2 attempts i did the scripting for systems on the fly which lead to problematic maintenance issues, this time i plan to develop all the systems at the start then work on the actual gameplay

back when i was a kid i used to play completed levels of 007 Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 and pretend it was Card Captor Sakura. for instance in the first mission in the Dam the sniper in the first watch tower was a clow card. the main badguy was actually Li and all the weapons i would collect was me using Clow Cards against his summons

@Riley on the PS4 no. on the PS3 and Vita's yes but only trophies for those systems. the 4.00 features list even points out you can see trophies downloded onto the system offline (which is what the PS3 and Vita did anyway)

also the rarety indicator for trophies is now a pyramid rather than dots

you can also see what games people have and set a cover image

I could maybe get interested in a magical warfare (battlefield type?) fps where you fly on brooms and shoot target/aoe spells and set magical barriers and traps, summon creatures, make wildlife attack your foes, grow attacky plants or spiky vines

this reminded me of plants vs zombies coz there's plants obviously

but you know you could make things up

put green patches of grass over the map where you can do grass/green magic stuff, other areas are concrete and asphalt, you can't do that there, but you can do stone shaping or spawn stone golems or something

we can come up with a concept but who's gonna make it

I'd like to see some witch tower standoff in the middle of a deep forest

thunder, lightning, witches on brooms, spells n shit lighting up the sky

idk how that would play though

I don't think modern guns would be appropriate or interesting in this setting
