Most people don't realize how fragile these communities actually are. It doesn't take a lot of provocation to completely ruin them.

Sure the Lounge is notorious for having one of the more extreme cultures there. But it really only takes one mod to turn everything upside down.

I don't mind the people making mistakes. That happens. But what really ticks me off is when people refuse to admit mistakes.

tl;dr chat moderation is basically random, and ideally, it should be transparent and make a difference in real problem situations

If it isn't going to do that, randomly timing out people for using bad words is worse than it being completely unmoderated

It's super-easy on discussion posts (generally, but especially on MSE) to post something which seems insightful, but is actually completely obvious and doesn't make any proposals or suggestions and can be made to agree with anything.

But it's actually quite difficult to write something that actually answers a question well

Granted, it's still mostly Japanese stuff on here, but there is a surprising amount of Owl City.

Like I think the only English-singing artists they have more of are kedollarha and Taylor Swift.

Also, I'm sad that the couple of anime OP/ED beatmaps I've found are the short versions.

ofcause it all depends on what the author of the beatmap actually got. full versions of OPs and EDs tend to be separate soundtracks

one particular one (for a game) is for Atelier Iris 3. the short version of the OP Schwarzweib is on the OST but the full version is on Kiri no mukou ni tsunagaru sekai which really shows no indication that it's related to Atelier Iris
