@flawr I'm kind of reluctant to add it because on the one hand this tip has been around longer than me and on the other I feel like the tips page gets kind of convoluted in small tips. I was thinking about whether it would be sensible to create a single collective tips answer for shorter alternatives to certain build-ins as community wiki.

Right, with a CW one could organize the tips a lot better.

Or would it make sense to start a whole new tips for golfing in haskell ?

@flawr Not sure about that, because there are a lot of valuable tips at the current question and it would be quite some work to migrate them all to a new question in a convenient way.
