@BeastOfCaerbannog I looked up in the dictionary, we use an with NVIDIA, also my mobile auto-corrects an with NVIDIA. So, yes you're correct.

The same can be said for "HDD" and "SSD". I prefer "an HDD/SSD" to "a HDD/SSD".

@BeastOfCaerbannog It's for every word. For eg:- an honest man. We use "an" based on the pronunciation. NVIDIA is pronounced as "uhn vi dee uh" which has u as the first word, so 'an' NVIDIA.
> If the word begins with a vowel sound, you must use an

@BeastOfCaerbannog whether we write "an" or "a" depends completely and only on pronunciation and not at all whatsoever on spelling. @Someone
Personally, I don't know how nvidia is supposed to be pronounced, but it is difficult to pronounce it without saying at least a bit of a vowel sound before the n, so "an" will provide euphony
if the n is really meant to be hummed (as in Ngozi, Ngesi), then perhaps "a" is okay, but if we write "an" it won't make any difference since the natural way to read it would sound the same - the n of "an" and n of nvidia will blend (otherwise, we lose the euphony again)
"an" exists only to make English sound nicer
remember, English is written in the wrong script
so its spelling is a train wreck, and should be treated as a joke
@BeastOfCaerbannog I am common as muck so I pronounce HDD in a way that starts with a consonant sound, so I write "a HDD"
but, of course, "an SSD"
