First I moved the files to /tmp and then chmoded (777) the tmp and then removed the files, that is so dumb of me

Anyways I fixed it now, @Zanna A person posted on MSE about winter hats

@Algnis there is rarely any reason to use chmod at all. Really, one should never use it on system files.

also /tmp already has 777 permissions BUT also has the sticky bit which is important

@Zanna I want to upgrade my PC components, which one do you prefer? CPU - AMD or Intel, GPU - Nvidia or AMD?

BTW, which version of ubuntu do you run? I run the latest impish and I am waiting for 22.04 (really I can't wait)

I am willing to switch to Kali Linux as Ubuntu Linux doesn't have many challenges, I don't like to sit peacefully on my PC, I like error messages and solutions to those error messages

@Algnis my problem is that time passes too much :) I don't play many games these days! Only scrabble with my mum. But my brother loves gaming. What kind of games do you like?

@Algnis since you are okay with math, you can study the subjects that you find harder I guess

@Algnis I don't really have an opinion on that. A while ago AMD graphics cards were having a Linux compatibility problem, but I think things are okay these days.

@Algnis I'm using Lubuntu 20.04 at the moment... I'm doing a lot of work on my laptop so don't want to spend time fiddling with the system much. I'll install 22.04 when it's released though

@Algnis hahaha well Kali should only be used as a live system. It's not secure to use it as your normal system. You can put Kali on a live USB and play with it, but don't use it as your system for just browsing and gaming and work. Why don't you try Linux From Scratch if you want a challenge?

@Algnis yeah... i have seen it, but it doesn't interest me much for some reason, though I have enjoyed some other games in the past where you build things... for example many years ago we had a game called Theme Park where you built a theme park haha that was reasonably enjoyable. Also I have seen my good friend playing a game where you have to make a city and fulfill certain requirements to progress to the next task... I forget the name of that game but I could easily get addicted to it
