7:12 AM
I posted a question about moving files

@Zanna Thanks! I'll try to look at it in depth later.

Damn... that's a great answer!

4:04 PM
@Zanna Thanks! :)
But why do you need to look at the names of each file? You should just reflect on all possibilities of your thought processes and write an enormous regular expression that matches exactly the files you would want to move. :)

@EliahKagan makes me happy I asked the question. I get to learn some stuff I wouldn't have stumbled on hacking away at it
@EliahKagan like the one to validate an email address :D
I was wishing find had a -mindread test
I mean, find has a lot of flags. Surely there must be one that checks what the user really wants to happen and just does that

@Zanna oh if youre going to implent this i would be glad as well :D

Hahaha

I would settle for one that selectively avoids doing what the user doesn't want to do.
find --wrong=no

4:41 PM
XD
It's definitely possible and even easy to do awful things with find

5:01 PM
@Zanna I am curious as to what you were saying about the absence of ternary operators. But I understand if you don't feel like discussing it.

5:32 PM
@EliahKagan it's bedtime again :( but maybe sleeping will help me to remember some examples of my efforts to get Bash to read my mind with operators

Good night! :)
