I am currently reading a lot about China, and I stumbled across an article from a Chinese embassy. The article mentions "Issue of Principle" a lot, and I didn't know what it meant. I couldn't find anything about what "issue of principle" meant. So, could someone please explain it to me? Thanks...

I mean nationalized in the sense that it falls under the state and can therefore be influenced by it. I would also be curious as to the extent to which European states can support non-radical organizations and movements through mosques, imams, etc.
