Do you guys know INSIDE? It is a really well made game! It is a platformer but quite untypical: I really like the artwork and the way it is designed (including the sound), and it has some puzzle elements to it.
Just like in the witness you don't have any instructions (just maybe check out the key bindings first:)

I've had it on my wishlist for a long time but ended up removing it for some reason. It reminds me a lot of Limbo.
Oh, it's from the same developer as Limbo.
Guess it goes back on the wishlist.

I haven't played limbo, maybe I should start that then before I finish inside:)

Today marks half a year of working on my game every day \o/ ... it hasn't come as far as I thought it would at this point when I first started, but progress has been pretty good, especially the last few weeks. Should be able to move on to creating art for it in the new year, so I can finally show something.

oh, I didn't hear about your project so far! What kind of game are you working on?

a zachlike, based on Labyrinth

I don't thing I heard about either of these two things
zachlike is referring to this book by zachtronics?

zachlike: a game like most of the games from Zachtronics, i.e. SpaceChem, Infinifactory, Opus Magnum, Shenzhen I/O, etc (or Human Resource Machine, 7 Billion Humans, Silicon Zeroes for some non-Zachtronics examples)
Labyrinth: one of my esolangs

6:27 PM
I tried making a zach-like board game, but there's a really big problem with them: They are hard to run.

7:09 PM
I mean... programmable board games are a thing (e.g. RoboRally). But making them zachlike sounds really hard.

8:06 PM
Yeah. And if you look at the number of instructions in Roborally, it's laughably low
The fact that the computer runs a simulation (and it doesn't make a mistake) is incredible compared to board games

8:50 PM
A compromise could be a mechanism computer like Turing Tumble.

9:07 PM
oh, yeah. hmmm
that sounds expensive
