@NathanMerrill From what I've seen, the core game looks fine (match 4 slider plus a mana system to use abilities), it's just either very rough around the edges

Also, Hollow Knight is still a good game. But Deepnest can eat my ass

I've beaten the game twice and while I like Deepnest for doing well what it's trying to do, I still spend as little time as possible.

It's a slog no doubt.

You all should really try Hollow Knight randomizer.

It is so much fun, and there's tons of recent updates to make it even better

Maybe after I've ever completed those last few achievements I've got left ;)

My favorite mode is junk pit: All upgrades, grub rewards, seer rewards, relics, rotten eggs are included in the randomizer

And you can specify which "skips" are acceptable (most people just do easy mode, which means no skips, except for trivial ones like pogoing off of enemies or background elements)
