@Prithubiswas On meta, upvotes and downvotes signify agreement and disagreement, especially for suggestions.
When the notion of agreement does not apply, it is often also used to signify whether people think it is useful or useless.
I suspect in this case the downvoters feel such a feature is either bad or useless, perhaps because there is already a bounty feature and because tags are for categorization and not to allow a solitary user to decorate a thread.
@user21820 Now I also feel like the question is quite useless , because there is already a bounty feature. On the other hand , I could have just looked at what features does MSE have without making a post about it. So , it is also unnecessary.

I am disinclined to delete the question, as the information about sponsored tags on SO is kind of interesting, and (in my opinion) worth keeping around.
