This post was recently bumped on Meta Stack Exchange: Mark read notifications as unread. I read in the question:
> In the Android app, can we have some option to mark a read notification to unread? I know that this option is not available in the web version of Stack Exchange sites.
I did not know that even in the full site version there is a possibility to mark notification as unread. Does somebody know how that can be done?

So I assume that ads will appear also on Mathematics at some point, although so far I haven't seen any:
The experiment will run on all SE sites in some shape or form during the 6 months. I won't post on each site about it, this announcement is sufficient. Inappropriate ads are full screen takeovers, punch the monkey, scam, pornographic, racist, etc. Some divergence from topic is ok but we'll monitor for exaggerations. Testing is for us to get an understanding of the quality of ad networks, profitability of the network, variety of availabilities, and other things as they come up. The announcement cause quite a reaction on meta, the post is currently at +27/-23. And there are also a few other recent post about ads on Meta Stack Exchange.
