@TimStone Actually, VA Choice is pretty much what he says it is if you're eligible (being a certain distance from a full VA hospital is part of that eligibility). Obama signed it into law.

Maybe that was what the complaint was, then, about not highlighting that requirement

I'm sure other vets have had vastly different experience with the program, but all Alaskan vets have had it for a long time and it really is super easy. I have complex and expensive health needs and the VA has cared for me well as long as I've needed it.

Yeah, I think whatever I saw just had some concerns about him suggesting it fixed everything (aside from taking credit), like if you're not eligible because you have a full VA hospital nearby but that facility has issues
But I only saw it in passing so I'm not positive

12:17 AM
Oh, and yes, pre-approval is recommended, but for me that has never required more than a 5 minute phone call.
Even for expensive specialty care.

That's pretty nifty!

Thank goodness for Trump who somehow made it happen in 2014 after fighting for it for 44 years :/

3 hours later…
3:11 AM
@TimStone i take it that she is against reparations?
@TimStone maybe that's why the Drone was in their airspace?

This was in response to them shooting down the drone
Like four hours ago they still were a go and then it got called off

@TimStone ahhhh. that might be why he's been saying tweeting the drone being shot down was done by one stupid person

3 hours later…
6:14 AM
@TimStone It'll be something insane, like him calling Tucker Carlson and telling him about the drone strike, and getting talked out of it then.

6 hours later…
12:36 PM
@MadScientist Yeah, really not a fan of this reality in which we have to hope the President talks to Tucker more

1:20 PM
Would be interesting if that were to be confirmed

2:17 PM
@TimStone But reparations are for blacks who are descended from slaves who were freed by the North who won the Civil War?
🤔

lmao fuck
a case related to a prosecutor who kept striking all of the black jurors succeeded in the correct direction 7-2
Thomas dissenting with "and also we should revisit the case law that says that's very not allowed" and Gorsuch joining every other part of that dissent except that one

1 hour later…
3:34 PM
@MadScientist Seems confirmed in the sense that the plane was in the air and they didn't hit it, but I guess we can never be sure on the specifics here
@Yuuki It makes sense if you remember she's just a white supremacist

@TimStone the interesting part is whether that plane was in Iranian territory

Right, I figure both sides will differ on that point

@Unionhawk Kinda makes one wonder why one is being compared to a concentration camp.
Or at least it should.

@MadScientist So basically that, probably 🤷🏼‍♂️
He went off on some Twitter rant about how the strike would have killed 150 people and he felt that was disproportional, which is absolutely true but also he doesn't care about anyone so I'm not sure I buy that

@TimStone that's really something you should notice earlier than when the planes are already in the air

4:11 PM
@TimStone Translation: some other person said that would be a disproportionate response and that was the last thing Trump heard.

> Obviously, Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks were absurd and inaccurate but they were also deeply demeaning to victims of the Nazi Holocaust and highly insulting to law enforcement.
I care to disagree on all four points
Mind you, I also can't talk for victims of the Holocaust, or their families.

I mean come on they aren't concentration camps, they are simply detention camps designed to be used against a specific group of people deemed to be undesirable by those in power
looks directly at the camera

4:30 PM
That seems surprisingly well handled

But also, 10 minutes is cutting it a little close.

@GnomeSlice Except for the part where you're not supposed to tell people that happened.

It is the right action, but it's not a good look that this statement came out soon after Putin publicly stated that it would be bad for America to attack Iran

Yeah you're right it would have been better if he just bombed them fuck Trump right
Lol

@GnomeSlice Literally nobody said that or even implied it

4:37 PM
The statement is a bit jank I agree
Oo I didn't hear about Putin chiming in
I mean he's not wrong I think that would have been bad
150 deaths is a lot over an unmanned drone. I feel like the US can afford to lose a single drone
@Yuuki I don't know is it illegal?
I actually know nothing about that

Think about it this way. You get into a verbal argument with a guy. Do you think it's a smart idea to tell him "I could've punched you in the face and sent you to the hospital but I decided not to because I'm a nice guy".
Maybe you are a nice guy. But you should probably keep that statement to yourself.

I dunno if you really deserve credit for going "I was going to start a war on flimsy pretenses but I decided not to last minute" when you are already wrong starting at the first half of that tbh
like that feels kind of neutral at best

Telling someone you could've totally wrecked them if you really wanted to is literally just pouring gasoline on the fire.

10 Minutes before means he already gave the order to attack something like hours earlier. And at that point he either didn't listen to the briefing or didn't care yet about the casualties

Well, figuratively but whatever.

5:00 PM
Well thank goodness he went with Tucker over Hannity because using the Pythagorean Theorum to explain we gotta bomb Iran to stop another Holocaust is just an immensely dumb series of words
Trump claimed to Chuck Todd that he didn't give a final approval and no planes were in the air, which is uhhhh quite a disconnect from the story thusfar?
> Roy Moore: "I'm not going against President Trump at all, I support President Trump, I'll vote for President Trump, whether he votes for me or not -- we'll see. I'm sure he will when I get in the general election."
🤔
I mean I hope he doesn't vote in Alabama's senatorial election, that'd be kind of weird!

Just A+ execution tbh, lmao

5:17 PM
The replies mention other “wholesome pornhub content” but I have not vetted any of it
I did not realize there was SFW content on pornhub and I’m not gonna check

@GodEmperorDune I hear that it's hard to find.

1 hour later…
6:52 PM
@GodEmperorDune What does she have against Paarthurnax?

7:18 PM
I mean Piers is probably right on this but uhhh not sure he thought that one through
Anyway I'll go get the shovel so we can find the bar
Also still pretty wild Oregon Republicans have fled into the arms of a militia that's threatening to shoot the state police tasked to bring them back for a vote on an environmental bill

Soo... they are running from voting?

yes
they are more specifically withholding quorum
with the help of 3%ers

That sounds weird and silly.

@TimStone There are few things as despicable as the Sandy Hook conspiracy theory, I still can't entirely believes that exists

1 hour later…
9:45 PM
camera pans to photo of them together that was literally in the article
Obviously they were just going to deny it but maybe go with something that isn't on its face untrue idk

"I've never met this person in my life" is Trump's go-to card though.

@TimStone facts never mattered here

I'm pretty sure awhile down the road, he's never met Don Jr. in his life.

> "What number should I give him to call you?"
> "Awesome."
> "Sean, he needs a number."
> "Awesome."
> "Sean, please, how is he going to contact you?"
> "Awesome."

@Yuuki yeah he's said it about people he's stood and smiled next to in a picture
@TimStone is manafort in jail yet or still diverted because of DOJ?

I mean he was in jail but they were going to send him to isolated custody in Rikers

there's trump with the people he's never met in his life

Not sure what happened with that, AFAIK DoJ intervened so I guess he's still in jail where he was
@GodEmperorDune Yeah it's in her actual story, lol
It wasn't even like he had to go to a secondary source

@TimStone lol holy shit he is brazen

10:04 PM
It is rather far into the text and we know how he feels about reading so
(but actually just DARPA)
