NB: I wrote this answer before I knew OP's gran spreads malicious rumours. If I wrote it today, I would not recommend having any contact with the grandmother. — Robyn 1 min ago

To me this sounds a little too much like "things are easy to me so why don't you simply do it too?". You are lucky if you work this way but not everone else does. — puck 2 mins ago

@Erik that's my way of say goodbye - also, I'm catholic but I don't consider myself (in a very religious way) - the "have a nice day" is independent of religious beliefs (it's about I consider "how I apply my manners in practice") :) — Mauricio Arias Olave 1 min ago

If all you really want is a date on an image file, you should be able to check the properties on the file. If you have some trust issues with your GF and you want to ask how to approach that with her, that would be a reasonable IPS question. — DaveG 51 secs ago

@IPSCommentBot report if someone wants to tell them that writting "test" as an answer isn't okay?

Likely because of the original "test" answer. I'm not sure why you didn't just wait and post an answer. — Ash 32 secs ago

Since those downvotes likely came from spam flags, I don't think they can be reversed, but your answer is now at least in a spot where it won't get deleted as spam. It does however, lack backup which would be in accordance with our citation guidelines. If you have any personal experience that is relevant to your answer, you should add it. — Rainbacon 1 min ago

The original text of your post tripped the spam detector. That usually attracts people that otherwise wouldn't see your post to come and flag it, which automatically adds a downvote. And in fact, if I had seen it before your edits I would have flagged it as spam as well. — Rainbacon 1 min ago

I'd give +1 just for the 'work out for a smaller/simpler piece'. Tried this, and just as you say, they are willing to work out the request if it's not too much detail. — Vylix 1 min ago

Grrr. I was having technical problems so I posted a "test" answer before going on to the real thing. I have no particular problem with artists; but the key word here is sell. I specifically advised that if someone can't (or won't) pay the price asked for, to politely decline the transaction. But if they get nasty, you should get nasty, too, and not just cave in and pay an inflated price. — Jennifer 442 1 min ago
