Q: Tutorial on starting Stack Exchange chat

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to use chat. I can't figure out how to access particular existing chats. I can't figure out how to find, create, or link to a room. I found this, but I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do in it. Could someone please provide step-by-step instruct...

@MichaelHardy Some of your comments under the feature request on meta.SE make an impression that you would possibly be interested to use chat (at least occasionally or maybe explore what possibilities chat offers) but you have some problem getting started.

The above link seems to be excellent introduction.

If you need some advice on features in chat I guess if you ask in the main chat room, you might get answers if somebody experienced enough is around.

Yesterday, discussion in my question's comment section was getting long so I transferred it to chat and had a long talk with another person. Now, if I want to talk to that user in chat what should I do? Is there any way to invite him again to that chat room? Thanks for any help.
