@ColeValleyGirl I'm really sorry to hear that you are experiencing poor health and hope that you will just park your account rather than delete it. You have been an amazing contributor both as a moderator and poster of questions, answers and comments on both Main and Meta, and I believe that I have benefited as much from your skills and experience as anyone here. I wish you better health and hope that you may decide to return to the site one day.

@PolyGeo It's good of you to say so. SE seem to be having trouble deleting my account -- they've gone awfully quiet on the subject! I've never been too bothered about rep, so deleting my account isn't a big deal -- if I do get the energy to come back, I'll create a new account and start from scratch.

@ColeValleyGirl Sorry to see you go, but I hope you don't go too far. If you manage to solve the mystery of Stanley Wright or any of the other fascinating brick walls you've posted about, I hope you might at some point let us know – although I suspect we'd hear that cathartic crash of bricks wherever you're at
