Initially I didn't like it but I'm starting to get used to it. I like that you can pretty easily and quickly scan the left side to see how popular a question is and if it's already answered or if the answered question may need an updoot.
my eye sight is not as good as yours @Howdy_McGee ;) all I see is that some questions are good and marked with green, but many times there is a red alert associated with them which is somewhat confusing ;)
on a more serious note, the emphesize is now totally on the question's title, all the rest requires too much effort to read
somewhat funny. when there is 1 answer the text is "1 answer", for 2 it is "2 answers", and for 0... "0 answers". didn't know 0 is plural :)
guess it was like that before but now it is easier to notice
