@TomJNowell Working for Automattic, what's a good approach in connecting with them about extending the block editor? I've already submitted #16198. Without going into too much detail, contributor users can't see the pre-publish screen. It was initially there, but because some unwanted panels were displayed for contributors, they somehow decided to entirely remove the pre-publish screen for contributors. Contributors need tips the most.

How about if I report the contributor role to contain a bug, because the panels containing info on how to contribute is not visible. haha
