.... and just because I stopped ranting about gutenberg, do not mean it is less of a disaster now than it was before. Actually it is much more now that matt had ensured that people will be discouraged from fixing core problems that take time to fix because you have unrealistic deadline to meet, and therefor problems are more likely to be covered and hacked arund instead of fixed.
matt has completed the transformation in a PHB
double sad that he thinks that deploying gutenberg on wordpress.com will prove its readiness, as most of the problems it has is with uncontrolled environments in which bad code is everywhere, but it also essential for the sites to function, and therefor gutenberg has to be properly tested against.
at its current state, gutenberg probably can not be ready before december
