I wonder how I can get a "Peer Pressure" badge...

Good morning all :)

10:28 AM
Good morning mate

Having a good start to the week?

Ya if the clients leave me at peace for a day or two

:)
looking forward to xmas holidays :)?

Can't remember the last time I had a holiday...
My life cycle is PHP - Sleep - JS - Sleep - HTML - Sleep and so on.

same ... I've been super busy for the whole year..

5 hours later…
3:29 PM
Can't seem to get the value of a checked checkbox...

@R1ddler WordPress has both checked() and selected() functions specifically for this purpose
Or do you meaning during $_POST?

4:05 PM
during $_POST
I'm using the same method on another project and it works there
the same approach
I'm trying to send a post request from a table row
with the row's id that will update a post with the row's id and change its post type

4:25 PM
I would make sure that the checkboxes have the name attribute, and are an array -> name="test[]"

4:37 PM
they do
the name is dynamic tho
so not all of them have the same name
cos the value should be the same for all

if all the checkbox names are different, they would all have different indices in the $_POST array

1 hour later…
6:04 PM
Anyone ever add a hidden field to contactform7?

6:31 PM
I can't remember if I have but they do support it. Why, what's up?

7:09 PM
@Howdy_McGee Tryin to set a dynamic TO field.

Well, you could pull it off with the wpcf7_before_send_mail hook, get the selected email from a dropdown or something, set it in the hook send it off.
If you're deadset on using the shortcode WPCF7 provides for mail, you can straight up use JavaScript to populate the field. At some point they added a bunch of JS Event hooks to latch onto. I think they have a support page on it but I remember it being scarce as all the WPCF7 docs

Hmm, I could use the default contact form, and just use that hook to override the recipient ?
Do you happen to know what the property name to set in that object?

7:27 PM
There's also Label -> Value with pipes I guess. Selectable Recipient with Pipes. And this looks like the most recent way to change the email.

Awesome. Thanks. I'll likely be using the action hook for this.
