hm... if I want to extend DateTime and DateTimeImmutable properly, how do I share method implementations? can't think of anything but moving implementation to a trait

Q: Check if image is an SVG or WebP

Ethan Jinks O'SullivanI have a plugin that automatically specifies missing image dimensions (width x height) for all image types, for example: <img src="https://dummyimage.com/350x150/aaaaaa/ffffff.png&amp;text=PNG" /> becomes: <img src="https://dummyimage.com/350x150/aaaaaa/ffffff.png&amp;text=PNG" width="350" heigh...

9:25 PM
@EthanJinksO'Sullivan that plugin looks to be super expensive performance wise to run, you could do what its doing inside page content and posts for a tiny fraction of the cost

@TomJNowell The reason behind this plugin is to ensure nothing was missed. Also, I have a shortcode that I use to generate images that doesn't allow me to set the dimensions

that can be filtered and cached though
an output buffer operates on the finished product long after object caches have been accessed, the only way to cache this is with a full page cache on the server level
there might also be issues if somebody puts an image tag linking to a truly gigantic image, you'll get memory exceeded issues

10:07 PM
I used the output buffer and wp_loaded tag to make sure this plugin runs at the end to catch all the images that don't have dimensions set
Could you please show em an example of an ideal approach instead of my way?
