@Howdy_McGee bloating IDs are not an issue, there are sites with millions of posts out there. if it doesn't matter that ID stays specific, just ignore them and delete/import
I had a client who (due to some circumstances) was deleting and re-importing something like 17K posts every day :)

The only limit I see is hitting the boundary of the number type of the ID: dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/integer-types.html
Theoreticaly though ;)

adding 17K products per day, every day, the unsigned BIGINT limit is reached in 297.288.300 years
enough, I think :)
Well that is what I meant with theoretically :)
