With the SOFU chatrooms you are supposed to be able to prepend chat. to the start of the domain and it creates a room and invites the OP.

What about late in the European evening, that's afternoon for US, and morning for Australia

Q: What is the status of the redesign of the support forums?

When the initial announcement of this site was made on the wp-hackers list, there were responses that the team would focus on WordPress.org between the release of 3.0 and 3.1. Has this happened? I've often ended up there to find one of two things usually happens:
1) There's only one post in the thread.
2) There's lots of people saying 'I have this problem' and someone wanders in with a link that was correct for WP about 30 years ago.

A: Contact Form on WordPress Sites?

Contact Form 7 is one of the most popular plugins to add a contact form to a WP blog. It supports multiple contact forms and you can add/remove fields as needed. Additional services such as reCAPTCHA and Akismet can be added. I use this on most of my blogs to power the contact features.

That's normal, you also see it on the main Stack Overflow site: simple questions are asked a lot, Googled a lot, visited a lot, and get many upvotes

Difficult questions, where you work long on an answer, are too obscure to get many views
