What a question!

Indeed, Yikes.
Still better than the last java code request.
@BenI. How's your question about "artists" coming?

I need a code sample to show what I mean, and I don't have one. I might need to wait to see something from my kids again

Humm. Too bad you're mostly in Java. I could probably dig up one of my own in Perl.

Here's one that made it past revisions:
sprintf(qq[INSERT INTO employee_change_log (id, employee_id, operator_id, date_time, reason_id, note, field_name, old_value, new_value) VALUES %s], join (',', ( map {"(" . $_ . ")"}( map {join(',', &get_pk(), $employee_id, $SESSION{'login_id'}, "'".$now_time."'", $change_reason_id, "'".$change_note."'", split('¿',$_))} (@log_entry)))));

Haha I don't really grok PERL 🤭

That one wasn't extreme enough to warrant removal from the code. I've done much wilder versions, including bit-mapped fields (which Perl happens to make easy anyway)
