@Buffy I had to add a comment to your book answer. It didn't seem fair to comment on the OP's answer without also giving you the same comment.

@GypsySpellweaver Related to that answer, I'm not sure why you think the self-answer should be a comment on Buffys answer. The question asks for book recs as far as I can tell, and they both give book recs as answers. Am I missing something, or misunderstanding your comment?

@thesecretmaster Primarily because the post commented about Buffy's answer, without stating what "this" was in the post.
Sans edit, the post is left hanging unless it is attached to the answer it addresses.

@GypsySpellweaver How does it refer to Buffys answer? Also, seems like "this" is referring to the book Bastl mentions.

Could be that OP does refer to in their post. The flag can be declined without hurting my feelings.
I commented on both answers asking for enhancements anyway.

Q: Vector and List

Krishnavamshi ChintalaIf 'a' is a dynamic array, called as list in python and vector in CPP, del a[1] This removes 2nd element from that array in python. In CPP how can we do it?

I've been ruminating on a meta about resource requests anyway. They are important to educators, and they don't fit so well in the SE format.

@GypsySpellweaver Yeah, there's that whole shopping-list question blog post about it.

If we can work on some guidelines, similar to software recs site, perhaps we can still deal with them.

I'm sure you've seen it, but this meta seems relevant

@thesecretmaster Answered it even. The problem is that, so far, we've not worked, as a community, to set how to deal with them.
I believe that we need to have them here. @BenI. gave good reasoning for them as well.

How did I end up out of this room?
I thought we had essentially adopted Physics' policy, as per @heather's answer.
@GypsySpellweaver @thesecretmaster ^ ^
Also, this is a general reminder to vote on questions! If we sit and lament that the site is relatively quiet, but don't vote on questions, then nothing gets going. Questions without votes don't ever become hot.

@BenI., kind of funny to see you with a "Still Fresh" hat.
I earned a few of those myself, actually.
