Okay, I gave it an edit.
I'd love if folks gave comments

You might talk about "opinion based" questions and the sensitivity of "listy" questions.
e.g. "What is the best language for teaching CS1?" and "What topics are essential in CS1?"

Also worth remembering your audience there: generally it's people familiar with Stack Exchange, but not with this site itself, who read that page
Absolutely new users generally don't know it's there or don't read it because it's not exactly obvious that it's any more important than the other pages

vs "What problems might I encounter using Processing in CS1?" or "Should the List interface be included in CS1?"
-- not great examples, but a start.

@Buffy My understanding of that page is that it's specifically about topicality, not about good practice.

Your call, of course, but more guidance might be helpful to newcomers.
Might help us avoid a few closures, bad feelings, etc.

practice makes perfect and perfect is the enemy of good?

3:30 PM
Therefore, practice is the enemy of good.

apparently

And, of course, the way that you get to Carnegie Hall is practice, practice, practice. So, you must be really bad if you're in Carnegie Hall.

Hmmm. I guess we need to hope that our students never come here.

but they will, sooner or later

This whole week has slammed me. It's so busy at work! I keep wanting to get back in and ask a question to get things moving again, but I don't have any wiggle room.

New question. New topic, I think.

8:51 PM
This is the fourth question in two days.

9:05 PM
That makes me feel a lot better.

@Buffy could you please elaborate professor?

11:50 PM
It was just a comment on the conversation above - practice, perfect, etc. Sounded like a bit of drunk talk.
