It's not very surprising. Long distance travel will return some day.

Someone just asked why Lufthansa is canceling flights to India. He must have missed the news the last half a year.

@gerrit, at this time I am more interested in 'within Europe' travel. But it looks like it will be months, maybe even a year, before that will be safe again.

@Willeke Depends where. I just came from hiking in the mountains of Piemonte, that's pretty quiet and safe. But cities I would avoid.

With the province I live on the red list (or at least orange list) of several countries, I better not leave the country. And I actually want our knot meetings, which will involve a lot of people from a lot of places, not something that fits with COVID 19.

And only a few hours to wait till you can post your first photos.

Hmm, back in 2007 I was at a bridge in Bavaria which was closed due to "risk of collapse", the bridge no longer existed as it had collapsed, but the sign just warned of only a risk. Now I wonder if I can dig up a photo...
