Hi. I'm planning a short trip to Paris. Is there any part of the town that I should avoid? I was planning on going from the Gare De Lyon station to a hostel that is on Boulevard de la Chapelle on foot, because I'm afraid that the metros might be too unreliable due to the strikes, and because Google Maps is telling me it will only take about an hour. Are there any dangerous aread on that path that I should avoid?

I'm also curious if anyone knows what hours are considered too late to be walking around Paris at, as my train arrives quite late (10 PM). Are there any violent demonstrations in Paris these days, or are they peaceful in nature?
