Q: Will cause any problems for my friend to get me a gun controller‎ from the states?

UlkomaMy friend is traveling to the states next week, I would love to ask him to get me this very unique xbox controller. He doesn't have to carry it with him of course instead he will keep it in his luggage. Would it cause him any problems? PS: damn trolling, now when I need real advice you'll thin...

voted to close as off-topic..

the link he posted has some sort of an add tracking information..

@HeidelBerGensis That's just a leftover Google Analytics code, it's harmless

now i know..

yup

@jpatokal I am not sure about the UK but it seems legal in The US, I think I believe so much in our system in The UK and the freedom we enjoy. — Ulkoma 6 mins ago
What is he on about?

@MichaelHampton trolling, he is trying to come up with a "hot" question.. rep farming..

In the US I can go to a shop and walk out in 15 minutes with a real AR-15 rifle, magazines and ammunition. I'm not sure about the UK, but something tells me it would be much more difficult there. — Michael Hampton 4 mins ago
And I'm just going to leave it at that.

@MichaelHampton I would have earlier than that

@GayotFow OK, I believe you, no need for a screenshot
@GayotFow Or for any justification actually, you should feel free to down vote if you think an answer is incorrect
Sometimes I get the feeling you make too much fuss about things, you attach some deep personal meaning to things like reputation in ways I can't quite follow
If you an answer, answer, if you think something is helpful or interesting, upvote, if you think something is wrong or misleading, downvote
That's it really

@MarkMayo @MichaelHampton If wrong answers should be downvoted rather than flagged for deletion, then why is it that heavily downvoted answers show up in the low quality queue in order to be deleted? Or, in other words, should I vote to delete wrong (because heavily downvoted) answers when they show up in the low-quality queue or not?
Following what you told me, I just voted for Looks OK on this answer:
-4
A: I've been told one state in the US is the easternmost, westernmost and northernmost state. How to visit the points?

Phil PerryUtter nonsense. A given state can be easternmost or westernmost, but not both (unless its east-west extent covers the entire rest of the nation). The easternmost point of Alaska's panhandle would have to be east of Eastport, ME, while the westernmost Aleutian island would have to be west of the w...

Since it attempts to answer the question, and is just downvoted because people disagree with it.

@JoErNanO Sure you can vote to delete if you want. Overall, in the Stack Exchange model, wrong answers are valuable in their own way as an illustration of what not to do.

I'll admit it felt weird though.

@JoErNanO I am inserting myself in the conversation but it makes a lot of sense to me.

As for that guy...

It's a way to catch spam answers for examples
After a number of flags, they are automatically downvoted into oblivion, even before a mod looks at them

8:25 AM
@Relaxed Obviously. But not limited to.

And then down voting means people can have different opinions and take the time to weigh in
When an answer reaches -5 (or whatever), then there is a sort of consensus that it's really bad
If you flag for deletion immediately, you put a mod into a position where they have to decide alone on contents
As opposed to just drawing consequences from the regular evaluation/voting process

@Relaxed Valid point.

8:40 AM
@HeidelBerGensis No need to pick on @Ulkoma.
The question is travel-related. It is answerable. Let it go. ;)
@MichaelHampton Valid point. I understand that wrong answers should be kept since they are inherently informative.

I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS
ANYONE HERE
?

7:51 PM
@viktoriasergeeva Probably better if you ask the questions (or post them as, well, questions on the site)

8:15 PM
@viktoriasergeeva You can always ask, sometimes people answer later

8:35 PM
@Relaxed please look at my question in my profile and answer it if you could thanks

8:47 PM
@viktoriasergeeva It looks like you already got an answer. There'll be signs that direct you to your gate, and those will bypass passport control since your transit doesn't require you to go through passport control
and you can always ask any of the airline or airport staff for directions if things are confusing

9:00 PM
@viktoriasergeeva Yes, I see now
I have never transited in Munich personally but I think the answer you got is good and I don't have anything to add.
Enjoy your trip and don't worry, I'm sure it will be fine!

ok sorry
can i just ask have you ever been to munich airport stupid question but just wondering is there mcdonalds in terminal 2 :D

9:24 PM
I've been to the Munich airport a few times but never gone looking for a mcdonalds.
@viktoriasergeeva According to the airport's website, there is a mcdonalds, but it's outside in the public area, so the only way to get there would be to go through immigration controls (if you have the documentation to do that) and you'd have to go back through immigration and security on your way back inside
