Because I feel this will probably need a back and forth which will make that comment section chatty. Not quite sure I understand your question around the visas tag.
There is a certain User(s) on this Exchange that is deliberately posting silly questions in order to entice high voting, badges and reputation increases. Why? I don't know, but I do know they're doing it. I'm sure some of you know who I'm talking about.
I'm not exactly sure, but adding bounties ...
@JoErNanO Is this the user called "User" being referred to?
I agree with your answer. We've have similar discussions in the past about seemingly non-sensical questions. And we took a similar approach: if it's on-topic, it's allowed even if the question seems "made up"
I have posted a few unusual questions, they have received a decent amount of votes & answers. I would like to believe they were good questions as in "haven't been asked before & fit this websites standards".
In spite of that I have been accused of trolling and received some negative attention as...
Okay fair enough. I still agree with your answer. A user (the user?) cannot be penalised for "coming up" with a question if it's on topic. There are mechanisms already to handle (the voting system). We just need to be careful about subjective questions, too broad etc. Same criteria apply.
That's my point. There are on-topic rules and guidelines, and these should be respected or changed. Whether one really wishes to carry a bazooka on a plane is none of my business. I'm just here to answer the question about the legality of such an idea.
@JoErNanO jwenting never backs his claims, don't bother. In fact, he likes to make the same claims over and over again even when it has been explained to him that they were demonstrably false.
@User So you're just hypothetically asking if hypothetical questions are OK? Not because you've been asking hypothetical questions and been called out on it. Ookay. — David RicherbyJul 13 at 14:28
@AnkurBanerjee @hippietrail I found my original 9" EeePC today, suffered a power surge in Santiago, but man that was a great wee device. SSD, 8 hours battery, and light for its time.

I am re-doing a module that I have failed, My first assignment have some questions that are identical to the ones I answered last year, would I be violating any laws or academic practices by copying my own answers from last year and re-use them?
Two years ago a professional gang broke into the Bureau de Change next door during the night. One of the cameras was a small IP camera which I had advised them to install as I thought an off-site recording would be a good thing. However, they were so professional that they recognized the IP camer...
Excuse my ignorance, I have lived in the UK for 8 years however I still don't know how to refer to a black person, as I came from a country where racism was not an issue.
Some agency called me last week and I was trying to explain to the person over the one that I had visited them a few days pri...
Ryanair is very cheap and I can afford to pay for another seat in exchange for a little bit more comfort. I do that sometimes on the train and there are no laws against it as far as I know. On the train I can claim that my wife just went to the toilet and show that I have the ticket for the seat ...

I heard that in order to apply for Portugal visa while living in Scotland, I have to do it via the consulate in Manchester, even though the consulate in London is easier to reach. However I cannot find any information to confirm this on the Internet. I tried to call the consulate but they didn't ...
@Ulkoma Do you have distorting filters on your screen? Do you just read random words that just aren't there? What's the Chinese spam wave got to do with anything?
