how can I begin with jelly

Jelly has a tutorial that I'd recommend starting with, along with Mr. Xcoder's explanation of processing chains and lyxal's summary

they all have similar information; I don't know which form you will find to make the most sense / be the easiest to learn

I'm working on an in-depth explanation of Jelly, but it's sort of been relegated recently what with work and uni applications :/

i still reference the tutorial's section on chain patterns every once in a while

like with the built-ins themselves, you don't need to memorize the rules and symbols

in fact, that's probably counterproductive - it's more important to understand the core concepts and then just refer to docs for everything

it's like how as a chemist understanding the procedure is important and memorizing the table isn't, which is why the education system always tests you on the important understanding and not pointless memory related things, right? oh wait
