can someone tell me if this is correct?

Can someone help me understand this solution? codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/112018/95516

@rak1507 well, the main link: flattens the matrix, gets the range from 1 to its length, saves that in the register, molds it back to the original shape, applies the helper link to it, translates it by the contents of the register, indexes into the flattened original matrix, then molds it back into the original shape, repeating however many times it's asked to
I have a very bad understanding of y myself if you're wondering what it means that it translates by the contents of the register lmao
...I got the argument order backwards
it translates the register contents by the helper link result
then for a more zoomed-out view of the helper link...
pop and reverse the first row, pop and concatenate the first column, pop and concatenate the last row, pop then reverse then concatenate the last column...
pair with -1 then scan by rotate left, resulting in one non-rotated copy and another copy rotated 1 to the right...
and concatenate with the corresponding elements of recursively calling the helper link on what's left of the original input to it
think ¹¡ is responsible for providing a base case but I do not know how
all I do know is if you remove it it segfaults
...wait, why did I think ¡ needed a nilad as its argument lmao
yeah so it just repeats the recursive call ¹ times, which is the input to the helper link, which being an array is converted to boolean
¹ being the identity function but applied to the helper link's original input since the whole ß¹¡ phrase is to the right of a dyad, rather

very detailed description thanks
