What do you mean by "blatantly inappropriate for wearing on out in public"? According to whom? Ask n different people and you will get n+1 different opinions on that. Also, why do you mention "Try to focus on her face" when the question is about how OP tried that and failed (and felt bad about it). You then go on to say it's on OP to not be creepy, but he can't fulfill that responsibility by communicating the issue. OP didn't manage not staring, can't communicate - sounds like the responsible thing would be to uninvite her... for her boobs. I suppose that is not what you meant? — R. Schmitz 1 min ago

@Beofett I didn't see it, but maybe it's just that it was already discussed in Jane's question? After all, her answer is the most upvoted; not everything has to be a tell of discrimination against women. — Agustín Lado 1 min ago

I found a Proof to proof that those can't be proofed in mathematics can be proof that they can't be proofed

@AbhasKumarSinha This makes no sense.

ugh
why?
I proofed a proof in mathematics that those which can't be proofed till now in mathematics can be proofed that they can't be proofed
Simple
@user21820 got it now?

@AbhasKumarSinha No, and you're beginning to sound like a crank. Either answer my question, or admit you don't have a counter-example. Don't waste my time.

@Jesse, texting, IM, phone, email. He is typically not very responsive though unless I happen to catch him when he's already online, otherwise he might take a couple days to respond. — Em C 2 mins ago

To the two downvoters: Please provide rebuttal of my arguments if you don't agree. Otherwise I am assuming that you just don't like what I wrote for dogmatic reasons because it does not fit in your world view. — problemofficer 1 min ago

+1 For giving the boyfriend the option to voice his opinion first. If he is aware it happens but happier not knowing specifics then it is so much safer opening with that. — Lio Elbammalf 16 secs ago

I'm not one of the downvoters. I like most of your answer and want to upvote but I can't. You don't really address how to ask her without it being awkward, all you say is "ask her (in private) to wear less revealing clothes" I can't imagine it without lots and lots of awkwardness. — Oleg 25 secs ago

As a vegan, I upvoted this answer and the question. My food choices are my business and if asked about them, I state why I am an ethical vegan. While I don’t “approve” of meat-eating, it NONE OF MY BUSINESS. Conversely, I have many times, been told how my choices are “stupid,” “pointless,” “unnatural,” etc. As I don’t argue with people about their food choices, I expect the same in return. Personally, I’ve observed this “meat-eaters defense/offense” more than I’ve seen vegans “pushing” their beliefs on meat eaters. — M.Mat 55 secs ago

"People don't respond to me when I talk to them" - can you give examples of what you say that people don't respond to? It would also help to have context of who you're talking to - a stranger in a coffee shop? A coworker at work? — charmingToad 55 secs ago

Agreed: There is such a thing as being "too open", and honesty does not mean full disclosure of absolutely everything, just those that are relevant. Actively bringing up this crush on the co-worker without other cause is something that might make the boyfriend suspicious or jealous - on the other hand, if they come up in a normal context and "oh, who's that" is asked then his looks may come up as a secondary point, e.g. "he works in <department>. He's really good looking to - any girl who nabs him will be very lucky. Not as lucky as me though!" inserts display of affection hereChronocidal 34 secs ago
