> @NeilFein: I don't think there is a feed for close votes, is there?
@Sathya: Where is that feed, or are you referring to the moderator-only feed?
10k tools has a closed / deleted tab where you can view which questions are being voted to close /delete / reopen /undelete
Do you have a link? Because a summary is not a feed...
@Sathya: Hmm, indeed. Perhaps I should make a page with all the most recent boxes on.
And refresh that over an interval...
And get them to auto expand and that stuff, seems reasonable.
Hmm, @Sathya, I should just open up three tabs when I want to be on top of things.
> Sathya has pointed to me that these are available on the /tools page, perhaps I should stay around there for recent vote-related stuff and the front page for recent edit/answer stuff. It's only two tabs I need to keep open, and a third one could then be opened for the /review tab for things I seem to have skipped or when I was away. I would love to see it all combined but seems that requires some work that has a high cost for a low benefit...
Thanks for pointing that out, I haven't really looked at what recent feeds there are offered. The live aspect would be just a gimmick that improves it a bit for me...
tbh, it(the live tracker) really doesn't help.
over at SO mods handle about 300 flags per hour

It removes the need for having three tabs open and looking around different places.
and now 10k+ have access to mod flags as well.
Yes, SO is kind of an exception in terms of scalability.
Do we get to see the same mod flags as moderators?
@TomWijsman it's all in one location - the moderator dashboard.
No, the recent edits functionality is gone, @Sathya.
@TomWijsman yes, I'm not certain if it's all flags or just those flagged as not a answer/vote to close ones
@TomWijsman oh it's still around. Just that the edits get approved faster than you can see ;)
11:11
@Sathya: I'm not talking about suggested edits, just all edits.
And to track those I need to track the front page (thus, a second tab)
I don't see a need for them. if there's an edit/rollback war happening it gets auto flagged.
and then there's a third tab for /review, although I can agree that I can just do that in the first tab
if a post is really bad, it either gets flagged or edited.
in both cases, all flagged posts are available from the mod dashboard.
a live updater would perhaps be useful, it'd replace my refresh every x minutes habit
Yeah, I now see what workflow I have to go through if I would want to be on top of things.
And it seems reasonable, but as you say and as I thought it would be useful to have it more closely together and automatically updating under a single tab.
But it's a high cost for a small benefit.
The fact that I'm not alone and that other users are flagging and handling flags is what solves most of this problem...
indeed.
with the introduction of 10k-folks having access to some of the Mod flags, the workload has reduced drastically, atleast from what I've been hearing from SO mods
11:18
Yeah, we even have the option to disagree with flags. I think it's a good thing that it's a bit more divided over the high reputation users.
Thanks, I think we're done here. Have seen those changes but haven't really looked into them to see what they were... :)
@TomWijsman I'm surprised you didn't know about the vote to close tab.
oh well, now you know.
Cheers.
