@AliceD There are now 26 people that have been awarded the gold electorate. A couple of years ago and only 12 people had it (see this meta). It seems we've picked up 14 new heavy voters, but I guess we still need to see more (the rate of new users has picked up far more than people getting the electorate badge). Perhaps this issue is worth readressing in meta
@BryanKrause Do you have a specific example in mind? I can think of three instances that you might be referring to.
To me, if I came across an old question, let's say with a string of abusive comments that needed moderator intervention, I'd flag it as readily as with a newer question. As a mod, I could deal with this straight away. If the question was a gem that could be polished, I'd give it an edit regardless of if I was a mod. There is no harm in improving and bumping an old question from time to time even as a mod. However, if it was an old question, let's say from the beta, that has s…
