Hi guys, I have a question, just posted here.. Can someone help me please.. electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/368440/…

Is your footprint library in the project?
It cannot find your footprint model, if you look at the PCB I'm guessing it also isn't adding a footprint
You place a component in your schematic from the SchLib. The SchLib points to a location and an object for the board, but the project cannot link it in if the library is unknown to the project. It's a bit silly, especially the way that Altium 12~17 don't actually indicate that as the problem

Yes, I have the footprint in my project. I have the same thought.. But I am checking again and again, footprint is associated properly in the component's schematic..
Actually I have 3 components in the library.. 1 relay, 1 Screw Terminal, 1 SMPS.. The SMPS one is the only component throwing this error

Can you show me the name as listed in the libraries, and the hierarchy of the project? You can insert imgur links here that will render in the chat

How can I send screenshot here?
Okay, 2 mins

hmm, guess this chat room does not do that
Try removing the space from the PCBLib name
dump the model from the SchComponent
and re-link it after

Could be that the space in the name?

Alt17 and before were largely Pascal, Pascal is not an easy language with strings

Ahh, yes yes.., just saw that.. doing that..

Would not surprise me one little bit

What a pain in the back.. that was the culprit.. uhhh
Thank you for pointing me to that..

11:08 PM
No problem
I have habitually beein using underscores since the days of Win3.11
Bed time now. Good night

Have a good night

@Asmyldof It has to be the raw image link, ending in .png, not the link to the page with all the imgur junk around the image.
@RakeshMehta, was it the space, or the fact that in one place you had "HI-LINK SMPS" but in the other "Hi-Link SMPS" (i.e., case sensitivity)?

@ThePhoton From DBLibs there's no case sensitivity and the PCBLib always shows full caps and the SchLib doesn't
Because Altium
Can't remember if I atually ever tried case sensitivity before I used DBLibs
