The name Malkaush is derived from the combination of Mal and Kaushik, which means he who wears serpents like garlands — the god Shiva. However, the Malav-Kaushik mentioned in classical texts does not appear to be the same as the Malkauns performed today.[2] The raga is believed to have been created by goddess Parvati (the wife of Shiva) to calm Shiva, when the lord Shiva was outraged and was not calming down after Tandav in rage of Sati's sacrifice.
Listening to Malkauns raga on a cloudy day..

@RakeshJoshi Ok.Btw, Parvati Devi cools down Shiva by her Lasya Dance. Shiva's dance is Tandava.

means
?
these are symbolic ..

There are many Tandavas. Ananda Tandava, Rudra Tandava. When he is angry, she calms him with Lasya dance.
@RakeshJoshi Both.

as per the legend he was in deep meditation after satis demise ... later parvati did penance and kamadeva had to interfere

@RakeshJoshi Yeah. There are many variants of this story.

7:10 AM
so i dont think parvati had done natyam due to satis reason but due to his anger on ananga
i dont believe that parvati incarnated immedielly

@RakeshJoshi yeah Sati incarnated as Parvati incarnated after long time... actually Sati-Parvati is like cycle... there are many Sati and many Parvati and all married to same Lord Mahadeva...

mahadeva also many for different kalpas

7:28 AM
@RakeshJoshi I think Mahadeva gets birth only in 1st Kalpa of Brahma... however other incarnations of Mahadeva might born in every kalpas like the Ashtamurti incarnations and the Ekadash Rudra incarnations...

trimurtis are not eternal
only parabrahman is eternal .. all other are the manifestations .. and have fixed time

who is parabrahman?..

7:35 AM
I haven't read it fully...

when u say chaitanyam atma does it have any fixed form
its manifestations do have form

Do you believe in concept of Brahma, Vishnu Rudra, Maheswara, Sadashiva or not?... (ie. 5 fold manifestation of paramashiva)..

not only deities but whatever exist is manifestation of shiv-shakti

Yeah I too believe whatever exists is manifestation of Shiva-Shakti...
