Hi Phillip and all. I have an answer for myself about chat -- the standards for posting on the Stack Exchange are so high, they discourage any non-serious, or less than fully researched or vetted posts. I inferred that any chat boards would have similar high standards -- and posts here can be pretty exhausting to prepare. Also, the chat boards are not something I readily saw. AND, as far as I can see -- they aren't in topic strings -- so wouldn't every discusison end up jumbled together?
