@RedDevil You basically just repeated yourself. That didn't clarify your question for me. If you think you have a valuable answer, then feel free to share.

6:25 PM
@AdrianLarson my question was that there are some questions asked which come under one of the below 2 categories 1) opinion based questions 2) questions with please help kind of statements

@RedDevil that's not really a question

@AdrianLarson my bad i was typing and clicked enter it posted message to you. sorry i am new to SFSE so running into some newbie problems
i will construct my question properly and post it to you

@RedDevil Might be easier to just post on Meta

@AdrianLarson cool will do it then thank you

Do any of you insert easter eggs into your projects?

6:32 PM
@EdwardCurran such as?

Hidden messages or images

@EdwardCurran images would be pretty tough, but i often leave subtle jokes in my unit tests

I'm really into easter eggs, they're all over the place in video games. Lately I've been adding super tiny - maybe 4mm tall - images of Mr. Peanut in printed maps.

6:55 PM
I had a coworker that developed an asteroids-type game. Where if you hit a certain combination of keys when you were looking at a list view, you'd be able to move a ship around and fire at records. They'd explode and disappear from the list view :D
We also had one or two other easter eggs. One was hidden in our documentation - not sure what it was, I left the company before I figured it out :(

7:06 PM
@RobertWatson that sounds like a fun way to mass delete!

I'm imagining a mass deletion turning into Space Invaders. If you don't win the round, your records don't get deleted.

Wow I just got an email with the subject Use <our product> to improve [Unknown]'s Customer Interactions in Just Minutes
classy

7:41 PM
maybe it's a scam, and the blatant error in the subject line is designed to keep all but the easiest targets out of their sales/support workloads?
That reminds me of a couple of months back when someone in my company fell for one of the Google Docs phishing emails that pointed to an obviously non-Google domain.

Surprisingly (to me at least), the person who fell for it wasn't among our execs, department directors, marketing, or sales teams.

7:59 PM
@DerekF Yeah that scam seemed super obvious, since the To Address was something like hhhhh@mailnator.com
and i was specified as the bcc, which is always fishy

I don't think it actually deleted the records though. that might be potentially bad. and probably wouldn't pass security review
