As I was looking into Husk, I found this on the wiki:

I don't think that's correct, as Jelly bears little to no resemblance to J's syntax. Unless I'm misparsing this, of course.

@ConorO'Brien I think "inspired" is accurate. Jelly borrows the idea of tacit trains (and many specific structures such as hooks, forks, etc.) from J.

@EsolangingFruit I was mostly quibbling over the term "syntax". J's syntax is vastly different from Jelly's, though the ideas behind the syntax are similar.

@ConorO'Brien I guess that's true. Straightforward things like +/÷L still have exact J analogues (in this case +/%# I believe)
