Once you have your tools though you can get away with very little wood if you don't build with it though

I was also considering setting up in an End ship and getting it to actually fly but I would need an insane amount of slime blocks so that would be too late game of a goal to make my only challenge

I'm still not sure it's feasible either. I'd have to hollow it out so it's only one block thick I think
