I wonder if, from a neuro-developmental perspective, if someone who spends a lot of time exposed to certain styles of optical illusion will eventually become adjusted to the illusion and stop seeing it.

That seems plausible, yeah. On a related note, saw this on Imgur:

@El'endiaStarman It is hard to believe that this is not a gif:)

@El'endiaStarman I don't really see much of an illusion in this one.

@PhiNotPi Try making it smaller or larger, and look around outside of the image, maybe that helps?

You all have probably heard this before, but here's a cool math Limerick:
> "A dozen, a gross, and a score,
plus three times the square root of four,
divided by seven,
plus five times eleven,
is nine squared and not a bit more."
Also, if you have trouble forgetting the quadratic formula, you can sing it to the tune of Pop goes the weasel
> X equals negative B, plus or minus square root, B squared minus four AC, all over two A

@DJMcSpookem now I need to look up this song
the refrain doesn't make any sense

1 hour later…
8:55 PM
@flawr I'm not sure which part of that is the refrain...

A penny for a spool of thread,
A penny for a needle—
That's the way the money goes,
Pop! goes the weasel.
