Cam is in the engine, though I need a new cam retainer plate (ordered). The one I have is for a newer block. The older blocks have a wider spacing between the bolt holes. Here's what I ordered:
This one is 3.62" apart (center to center) of the bolt holes. The one I have is like 3.2" ... so much closer. I'd thought about just slotting the holes, but thought the better of it.
