@shredalert I'm actually a physicist, so not in the same way as a mathematician :P I figured that it would be useful to gain some experience of teaching in something relatively simple [read: that I can do] before/while I start helping out in undergrad problem classes. Also, I'm hoping that I can be some use :P

Well, without physical motivations we'd never have calculus. I think it's easier to first learn about it in an intuitive setting like physics
